Q: What sunblock do you recommend?
A: Everyone should use sunblock because anyone can develop skin cancer regardless of age, gender, or skin color. According to the American Academy of Dermatology Association “it is estimated that one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in there lifetime.” Any sunblock that is used should be broad spectrum and protect against both UVA and UVB rays, t the SPF of 30 and water resistant. UVA rays can pass through glass windows and age the skin causing wrinkles and sun damage. UVB rays damage the skin and cause sunburn.
My favorite sunblock line for the body is Elta MD. My Elta MD go to sunblocks are the UV Pure, UV Aero and the new UV stick which can be used on the face, body and lips.
For the face I like the ISDIN Eryfontona both tinted and un-tinited formulas as well as the Revision line Intellishade. Original, Matte and TruPhysical formulas.
